The return of PBaller

So after some searching, apparently {AR} went through some drastic changes in the last couple years. However I still see a lot of familiar names on the forums... Initially I left {AR} because of school/work, and not really having the time to play, but now I have waaaay too much time. I plan on coming back to the server, bringing a friend of mine with me. My questions are many, but they will be answered in due time Razz

The most important ones are: what game version are we on now? (and is there still a patch selector floating around...?) Mods? (BEEEEEER!?!??) annnnnnnnnnnnnnd thats about all I can tink of that I need to connect, but I'm sure I'll have issues like I did a couple years ago when I tried to come back... I'll try to get on later today, catch you cool cats ingame

p.s. forum username is Rourke, cause thats what i use all the time for forums now... Probably will be my ingame name too. Actually, i might keep PBaller for old times sake...

well atleast i'm still around lol.

it's the 2.6 version.Should be some patch selector somewhere.
It's an etpub version.(so include whaleclient 1.4)
you might wanna put the name rourke on the server but to make things easy in the beginning also put pballer in there for a while.
something like rourke/pballer would be fine i guess.

ugh. same problem as before: I can run et, connect to the server, and be connected for about 20 seconds before my whole computer freezes... gonna have to do some real wokr to get to the bottom of this one Sad

have you updated PB?(www.evenbalance.com and download pbsetup.exe)
Do you run vista?(run et in admin)

ughhhh. Don't think this is going to happen. Long story short, ET is being gay; I get a system freeze when I connect to any server. And the interesting part is that one of my friends (on a machine very different than mine) has similar issues with system freezes. I have found no help online for this issue, and am basically forced to give up until I can find the old machine I used to play on, which is many miles away from where I am...
