Server Down!?

Server is down for 3 days already..Anybody knows why?
Anybody even aware of it?

nope havent noticed

i noticed it,but am too much of a geek to restart it,i know there is a way to get into it,without even being on the server but i have no knowledge how to.
Maybe pm zeman/eagle.

Can't do anything about that one. The whole machine seems down.

Did you try just reinstalling the game? Or is it something in the 2.60b patch?

Okay, here's the status as of now:

I've PMed Eagle to see if he has anything to say to the thing. Forum says he's logged in just today morning, though I haven't seen him post anything lately.

I'm also in contact with Falk and we're trying to work out something in case Eagle won't be able to support our server anymore.

ETPUB server status:
The old server is down and not coming up again. Our sponsor for that one, {AR}Eagle, is no longer willing to pay for it from his own pocket anymore.

We should however have another server online and on etpub soon if all goes well, this one courtesy of {AR}Falkoner. There may be a slight confusion about levels (we will see if/when we can get the levels from the old server over to the new one) and it will probably not be a perfect config until/unless we together do the work and discussion to make it there...but ET is not dying quite yet for {AR}.

That's good news Zeman. I still think we should have a specific time for members to meet on the server to populate it. Even if I have to get up at 4:00 AM to meet everyone, I will do my part. I still play alot of ET, but mostly on Old Farts Server (2.60b) or AN (2.55) (pliskin's and chico's clan) server.

The server will be at 75.150.172.139. It isn't rolling quite yet but hopefully very soon.

Okay, like Falk said, the server's on 75.150.172.139.

It's not quite finished yet, I haven't managed to make bots run so far (and not sure I want them either), and most of you won't have your level set or will have an older level. Please don't ask us admins for level corrections in next week or so and let us try if we can get a newer level file to work from.

Also, some settings will be different from what you might be used to. The server settings are a matter for constructive discussion of course.

Also please let me know whether the map downloads are running okay.

The redirect is working fine,tested it and downloaded a map within seconds.Older level(4) is set in my case.Saw a few bots running around already,along with a first guest.I would say Job well done.

plus it resets everything when new map starts

The bots do not work yet either. Or at least I was not able to make them appear at at all. The command works but no bots appear.

That's probably because you tried the command on a map where there are no waypoints for them.Once you kick them off on a map like that,they will simply not return.

So it doesn't save XP...something to look into when I get time.

The bots need some work for sure, there's a new version that I shall try to install.

I just got done playing. I was happy to see the bots are running around erratically but I laughed when I saw some of them actually with knives out trying to kill. They seem alot smarter thus far. I had alot of fun even with the bots.

bots dont seem to do anything on the subway map

i also kicked them (!kickbots) and then try to add them (!maxbots16)

but nothing happened after i kicked them

are there new command for the bots or how does it work?
