Et command and settings(fov)

Does anyone know the field of view command,i cant remember what it was,I like a wider view of the game,rather then the standard view.Might as well post as many of the settings and commands here for everyone if you know them.

/cg_fov is the command for your field of view. 90 is standard, the higher the number, the more you see. 105-120 suits me the best.

yeah /cg_fov, but be carefu as many server limit this and if you set anything higher or lower than the server's limits are you'll either be pushed back inside the boundaries or kicked by PB straight away.

yes i had that with cg_fov on some servers, got punished by pb!

I old quake 1 times when there was nothing like punkbuster and there were very few rules about cvars I used to have fov between 130 and 140. While giving more give you larger field of view, it will distort the view too much, making harder to aim at things. I think 100 is still within limits on most servers with ET, default is 90.

90 to 120 should be okay on most servers I think.

That's funny never even knew you could change vield of view. Guess a list of everthing changable in console would be a good idea...

cl_maxpackets (100 is what I use, I think that's the max)

Cvar and commandlist

I got my FoV at 115 for my widescreen monitor, default 90 gets distorted.

Yeah thats a good list, although it isn't complete. And err...my console help on other forums mentions the /cvarlist and /cmdlist commands I believe :/

I have a full copy of all the RTCW commands if its any help.
99% of em work in Wolf ET and I posted a topic containing the important ET commands on the other forum.

my fov is 105 (found that its helped me alot acutally) and seems to be wat most Etpro players

also it you set yourself up a auto config and but in your wanted fov and stuff you wont need to reset itt every time you connect to a new server
it can also do your binds and controls they are very! useful
