Super Goldrush

I get booted everytime Super Goldrush map cycles thru.
Hunk_Alloc failed on 1271808

I've tried the usual hunkmeg stuff but to no avail. It only seems to be my puter as the boys don't get booted.

No no, i just really dont like it, and i think there are more people that dont. the regular goldrush is better imo

It realy should be your memory..have you tried setting it abnormaly high?

there is another thread where i had the same problem, i think. and yes, it is the hunkmegs. but you have to set when ET first comes up, not after you've done any menu item. find the other thread. zeman explains it better there.

Yes I'm almost 100% sure it's hunkmegs. If you have 1GB memory and XP set it to 300 (and make sure you did really set it correctly) and it should work.

yes you have a certain amount of RAM dedicated to ET maps and such can be easily changed i also have 1 GB memory and XP and as Major said 300 megs does work great I never seem to have trouble loading super goldrush

Yup, I'm running 2 gb DDR. Apparently, the mega chunks were reset somewhere along the way. Or I've never played Super on this puter before..... hard to say. So many puters.....
