Warno's error

i got this error right after i start the game in a grey report

someone alreay suggested me deleting dcds but that didn't help (thanks anyways triassic)

note: the version isnt patched because it also gave me an error
Old file not found. However, a file with the same name was found. No update done since file content doesn't match

i downloaded this patch from the aaotracker:

Update 2.8.3.1 to 2.8.4 (WIN)



If anybody could help me with at least one of the errors i would be very gratefull

I understand you tried to use the update 2.8.3.1 to 2.8.4?

If thats the case you need to repair your AA.
That would mean you would have to use the last patch you did.
Which would be 2.8.3 to 2.8.3.1. After that everything should work just fine.

If it doesnt work, get back to me.

lol installing this game takes a lot of patience and it took to much of me

i tried what you did, didnt work

i dtried to reinstal the game

and deleted it i reinstalled it, now my instal doesnt work nomore because a file is missing????

it wil take quite some time to get over this frustration that i may start to download this again

Ohw, you need to know. If you reinstall your AA you need to delete the whole thing before installing it again.

You will have to delete the directory of AA and everything before you reinstall.

i asked someone to help me out on the forums and he gave me this link to the america's army utility package

i am running it now

it first runs a back up and then he checks wich files are corrupted and he redownloads them
looks like a good program

if it all works out i still might be able to play!

Yeah a friend of mine used that thing. He was pretty positive about it. I just dont like using stuff like those, since you have to use them at your own risk. Great it worked out though. Totally forgot about that
