so what is wrong? i don't understand that..

You need to update your pb manualy.Go to evenbalance.com then download and run PBSetup to update your game files.

Checked your firewall or router settings?In Vista try running ET as a Administrator.Running these 2 (PnkBstrA , PnkBstrB) located in your pb folder as Administrator also helps sometimes.

if you are running vista somtimes it helps to turn off user account control i had problems with punkbuster shut thta off they went bye bye

Yes! search for UAC ( users account control )and turn it off.
its also very helpful when you are not playing games.

That thing helped, i just allowed PnkBstrA , PnkBstrB and now ET works again. ....


i have Win XP and F-secure..

I got the same problem that MAC had to, but unfortunataly i dont understand the instructions that hawk explained to MAC, maybe someone can make it a bit more clear for me...

I already have tried to download the new pb update on evenbalance.com, but when i trie to instal it, i get a mistake report, and i need to end the installation.

I dont know how i can check this:

Er is een communicatie fout, oftewel: jouw Punkbuster client kan niet tegen zn Punkbuster server ouwehoeren.

Hawk legt uit dat je eerst je firewall en router instellingen moet checken. Staan de juiste poorten open? In principe gebruikt PB de zelfde port als je game. In dit geval dus 27960. Check in je firewall of die openstaat en check ook je router.
Of het je firewall is kan je makkelijk nakijken.....zet m maar eens helemaal uit en kijk dan of je weer dezelfde error krijgt.
Je router/modem heeft een eigen maintenance pagina, bereikbaar via je webbrowser. Welke dat is kan je opzoeken in de handleiding, of je zoekt ff op google.

De andere oplossing die hier aangedragen wordt is Vista specifiek. Ik weet niet welk OS je draait dus die leg ik dan nog maar ff niet uit.

Nee want zodra we weten welke OS je draait,dan ben je nog niet jarig!
