Technical suggestions

A couple quick first-glance suggestions:

- a bigger basic font
- no light grey text - make all the texts more contrast and easy-to-read - the forum's all about text after all
- more than 15 posts per page - old forum had 20 and went up to 50 and I think it was a good move in that time

yeah I changed the normal font colour but can't figure how to change the light grey one... trust me I've tried... I'll try again

How about a new banner for the forum, no offense but the one currently used is kinda dull

The only things I can seem to correct at the moment was making the posts per page 50 and changing the quote colour to a darker colour.

I would be happy for anyone who has a lot of experience with forums to help me out because I really have no idea.

As for the banner it is a bit dull and I like you idea of a competition for a new banner Ev3ry. Come on photoshop experts!!!!

Hah I just found out you made the admin pannel accessible for me.

I made the font a bit darker (it isn't too easy to do).

There's quite a lot of things in the design that can be changed since I can directly edit the site's CSS.

YES! I finally got rid of the stupid background!

The top banner could be somewhat shorter ... perhaps one half or one third of the height, will save some scrolling needed to get to the posts

I changed what i found already. Is there any light grey text on white anywhere still?

I encountered this when attempting to create "Jokes" topic:

Umm .. perhaps owering the lower limit to about 4 or 5 characters?

Yeah I added some categories cause the forums looked a bit messy.

Now I tried to add icons to the games forums but I tihnk the look absolutely terrible - but lets see what you all think befor eI delete them again.

I also added links to the other two games.

Looks good. BTW perhaps move the members-only section "contacts" from general to clan discussion too.

Contacts should be visible to all logged in forum members.

Btw. if anyone noticed forum isn't redirecting to the thread after you post a reply - it's a global forumotion (hosting owner) problem, every forum is getting it.

They just screwed something.

I feel Contacts should be in the members section. Throw up another threshold for spambots etc. People who are just passing by on the forums don't need to know detailed contact information on our members.

If any non-regular visitor would like to contact anyone they can use the forums PM.

spambots etc. are why I made that forum inaccessible to visitors. Currently they're visible to forum members but not visitors - the question is, should they be clan-only or forummembers-only?

Perhaps keep it clan only until we get a leader to make a decision on it. At least we know they're fairly safe till then.
