comp probs

hi all,

i wont be able to play ET anymore for a while, my comp cannot run ET or any game proparly.
if i start any game, my comp inmidiatly stats to lag.

i cannot find the problem of this, i am not downloading anything, and nothing els is running,
maybe its a problem with vista, maybe not.

the problems just started a few days ago, im going to look if i can fix it, or els i have to go back with my comp to the store.
i hope il be able to play with u guys soon

Are you running ET as an administrator(or any other game)?
Did you try:
/rate 42000
/com_hunkmegs 120
/cl_maxpackets 1

it doesnt help, and i dont only got this problem with ET,

first al my games runed really great, almost 2 great.

and now not even 1 game rune good :/

Did you have a servicepack update?
Or maybe, I hope not, your Graphicscard is giving up..

my comp is 2 motnhs old, woud be fast if it already is borken :/ , if my ad cant fix it, we are going to take it back to the store.

i deleted everything off my comp, and reinstalled ET, but now PB keeps kicking me,

this is wat it says: RESTRICTION: inadequete o/s privileges.

i have reallt no idea what it means, can someone help me?

yep, but nothing works, went to evenbalance.com

and still doesnt work, i installed it properly and i added ET in the list, but it doesnt work :/

What OS are you using? Vista?

Inadequate OS privileges means just what it says - ET needs more rights to run.

You should try setting whole ET folder's permissions to "full control" or whatever is it called in Vista for every logged-in user on the computer. Or if you want to be brave and careless, run ET as administrator.

yes i have vista.

ET already got "full control" my firewall doenst blok it, or anything els,

i really dont know what the problem is.

i can get on the server for just a blink, and then pb kicks me

i really hate vista ... nothing but problems...

Rechterklik op ET en dan Eigenschappen dan compatibiliteit en dan als administrator uitvoeren.
