Server Status

Ok, the test server is up. Barebones 2.60 at 71.58.19.98:27960
Please put feedback here. I need to know lag issues, connection issues, etc. I would like to see how it does with a bunch on at once so try to get people on.

I've been working on this all morning so I need to make the company some money now. I'll check in as I have time.

Well, it is looking hopeful. Looks like it works for the Euros so it should work for everyone on this side of the pond. I'll start working on a permanent solution as I have time. Hopefully Xeon and others with experience will be available to help get the setup right.

Perfect server.
Ping was ok for me ( 150 -170 with 5 players)
Now, the server needs a mod, Etpub?
and then levels etc

i think it should be jaymod only say that becuase alot of people like jaymod xp saves and were more intrested in getting some peeps right?

yes i think our first goal is to gain members and gaining members is done with popular mods

like i said thoguh i personally perfer Pub and Pro those mods have loyal players that have regular servers

Jaymodders jump around a lil more and XPsave for a week would really do a number for the server activity am sure

if it must be a noobmod than im more for noquarter..hehe

i like pub myself,,xp save for a week would help populate it more often

btw really good work falk server works great on my end 48 piong very smooth

it will once we have a map rotation and the settings and all that set up,,right now,no one wants to play those old 3 maps

I'm working on the server this afternoon. So it is currently down. I'll post here when it is live again.

The server will probably be down until tomorrow as I work on the .cfg files. I'll try to get some new campaigns on as well. Hopefully we will have a working solution sometime tomorrow. Thanks Goldie and Schick for trying things out today.

Server is back up. 4 non standard maps. What maps do we want to see? Also let me know what settings need tweaked. I know there are a bunch yet and I will get to them as soon as I can.

somethings wrong, tried to connect, did 100 downloads of no files...some etpro files..but didnt download anything

You have to disconnect and then reconnect after every downloaded map, otherwise it won't download the next one, pretty strange.

i want daybreak... it's easily my favourite map ever

Are we going to be on the server at a specific time? Other people will only play if they see that there's people on the server. The problem with our clan is that we're not all on the same time zone. I don't know if we can create polls here but perhaps we should have a set time to try to populate the server.
